Our Vision
Our lab is interested in unraveling the neurobiology of learned psychiatric disorders, like drug-addiction or post-traumatic stress disorder. Both of these disorders involve aberrant learning that results in unusually strong and persistent memories. By understanding how these memories form and promote the respective disease states, we may be able to find effective treatments for these disorders.
